TRANSPORTATION
There is free parking at the venue. If you will be consuming alcohol, please consider taking an uber to and from the event! You can schedule a ride ahead of time!
ACCOMMODATION
Whether you are traveling from out of town (thank you so much for making it here to celebrate with us!) or you just want to enjoy a night out, we have rooms blocked where we will be staying just a few miles from the venue. There is a pool, a restuarant, a bar... but most importantly, you don't have to make the bed :)

Are plus one's and/or kids invited with my invitation?

YES! If you want your kiddos to be a part of our celebration or you can't find a babysitter, we are so happy to have them there. Or if you rarely get a chance to have a night out together, we won't be offended if you opt for them to spend the night with grandma or babysitter. ☺️

If you are bringing young ones, we will have an activity area for them, but we will not have designated supervision for them or for the exits.

What is the attire?

We will be pretty dressed up 😉. But we want you to be comfortable. If you feel most comfortable in casual clothes, then that's your outfit! Or, if you never get a chance to dress up, please make this your opportunity! There will be a range, and it will be perfect. Come as you are!

Parking?

The venue has a parking lot with plenty of space. If you are drinking, please consider taking an uber to and from the wedding. We have already let them know that there will be requests! Property gate will be closed at 11:59pm.

Is there a smoking area?

Camp Red Cedar works with children and adults of all abilities through recreation and interaction with horses; therefore it is an entirely smoke-free campus. We will personally be fined $500 per incident.

What is Camp Red Cedar and The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar?

Established in 1970 Camp Red Cedar features everything traditional camps have to offer – games, horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature hikes, and singing around the campfire – in an inclusive environment for people of all abilities. In addition to summer camps, enjoy year-around therapeutic and conventional horseback riding or schedule a one-time trail ride. Of course, the entire camp is completely wheelchair accessible. Discover a whole new world of possibilities within Camp Red Cedar’s 57 acres of meadows, woods, trails, and lakefront.
The Lodge was added in 2018 and Jessica, having been passionate and supportive of the camp for years, saw the beauty of the venue for camp purposes. When Brandon started searching for venues in preparation for this wedding, nothing could match up to the Lodge at Camp Red Cedar. Fortunately for us, the venue is only used for camps during the week and camp season and was available for us to celebrate our greatest day.
Our money spent to reserve this venue is 100% used to support the camp and the supplemental tuition support.

What food options will there be?

We want to support local businesses, especially because we have a local family-owned business ourselves. We will be sure to have options for picky eaters and kiddos as well as gluten free options.

Will there be a bar and do I need to bring cash?

We will have an open bar and hopefully all night. But please do bring some cash to tip the bartenders ☺️.

Photo and video?

We hired an extra photographer just to have the candid shots and even posed couple/friend/family pictures if you would like! We would love for you to utilize this and when the pictures become available to us, we will also have them available to you! It was really important to us that you get to have pictures of your family as well!
We couldn't justify getting a videographer and for the cost of one to provide a 4-6 minute video, we've opted to have GoPros throughout the venue. If you get ahold of one, try to get the best moments, give a little message to us, or just a quick pan of the dance floor ☺️. (And try to keep the kiddos from running off with them 🙃).
